  First time here, my sister kept telling me we had to go here. Nostalgic, history, remembering when the first time was we encountered this family . The business is a great example of perseverance. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel at home. No one is trying to rush you, even when they got busy, and they do, they still take the time to make eye contact, listen , smile, and thank you. The sub I had was just delicious. I loved the bread, and the dressed ingredients , all fresh and bright. Homemade potato salad, my weakness, better than mine. Just can't wait to get back up there again soon. Thank you to my sister for making it happen.

  I just wanted to let everyone know what happened to me today at Empson’s Deli during lunch time. I went there like I usually do to get a chicken salad sandwich but my son is home from College and asked that I get him something too. I ordered my son a Reuben sandwich and I ordered my usually paid for it and left. Once I got home and gave my son his sandwich he told me he couldn’t eat the Reuben because the last time he ate thousand island he broke out really bad. I immediately called the deli and made them aware of it but the girl that answered the phone was acting as though I was speaking a foreign language so I drove back up there with my receipt and sandwich wanting to switch the sub out for another one. I was so disappointed on how they reacted about a sandwich. I told the lady about my son being allergic and her response was so you want us to give you a free sub and we didn’t make an error. My response was you’re not giving me a free sub because I’ve paid for a sub but my son can’t eat it and then another guy came up saying “lady you don’t know your son”? I’m like really you’re questioning my parenting because my son is now realizing his allergic to the sauce. That really made me boil because I’m a great mother and to add my son is attending College on a football scholarship and he’s on the deans list. So don’t dare question my mother hood over a freaking sauce. I WILL NEVER RETURN BACK TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. You’re that upset about making another sandwich? Really??

  This place has great homemade soups. My favorite soup is the mushroom brie and omg the bread for the subs is so fresh and yummy. It gets really busy around lunch because it's across the street from the hospital, but they serve you quickly.There is also outside seating with umbrellas which is nice too.

  I had the chicken salad it was passable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Seating could be better very cramped for a big guy. Was expecting to really be wowed by the food. Mediocre. Eagles Landing pharmacy around the corner still has the best chicken salad in Henry county.

  Best sandwich place in stockbridge! Might not have the selection of subway but everything tastes fresh and not prepackaged. Their soups are also made fresh and that's not something you find at to many places.
